anyway google pagerank is "assumed"(since most search algorithm was kept secret and they always updating it) calculated as the sum of value of inbound links(pointing to your page) divided by the number of links on that page.

it was not really a rule of thumb "not to use a table" but i still advice to start practicing div tag and css combination. i still use tables in displaying reports and forms but never in overall design layout....
